July 2001: Leslie Matula, co-founder and vice
president of K-12 Education Programs, spoke at the Leaders for Character/Young
Leaders in Action Seminar, July 25, 2001 at Rice University. The training
seminar was for teachers, administrators, and community leaders concerning the
importance of character education, and was hosted by The Leadership Center of
Houston, Texas A&M University System.
June 2001: Leslie Matula, MindOH! co-founder
and vice president of K-12 education programs, presented at the
Third Character Education Academy on June 25. The conference was hosted
by the International
Center for Character Education, and was held at the University of San
Diego Division of Continuing Education.
March 2001: Leslie Matula presented "Why
Character Education" on behalf of her other company and MindOH! partner,
Project Wisdom. She spoke at the 2001 Western Regional Middle School Consortium
in Las Vegas, Nevada.
